Today in class, I read a bit more of 1Q84. Fuka-Eri whom I mentioned in my last post, is now recognized as being dyslexic. She didn't write the manuscript on her own, and she didn't even submit it to the contest. Tengo realizes that maybe other people were in on this act. Tengo wanting to know more about Fuka-Eri, is taken to meet her guardian, Professor Ebisuno-sensi. He finds out that Fuka-Eri's parents were members of a group called "Takashima."
1) Does there always have to be only one certain conflict or "antagonistic" group or can there be more?
2) What do these groups try to represent?
3) Why do authors include mental or health diseases into their stories?
