Jumping back to one of the main characters, Aomame, discovers that she has a relationship with an old wealthy woman who is called "the Dowager." She asks Aomame to kill men who have abused women. Both women have had experiences in the past which cause them to act upon this hate and perform these tasks. After the murder she has performed, Aomame constantly goes to bars and picks up older men. She then meets Ayumi who is a policewoman, and also does the same as Aomame. They continue to be good friends because of their similar situations. Ayumi reminds Aomame of a friend she once had who committed suicide, and surely enough, Ayumi died by having been strangled to death. The Dowager introduces, Tsubasa. Tsubasa was abused by the leader of the "Sakigake," The "Little People" mentioned in Fuka-Eri's novel, appear from her mouth. The Dowager wants to adopt Tsubasa, but for some reason, she disappears.

1) Is it possible for characters to play antagonistic roles, but still do morally good things for others?
2) Are dystopian novels usually biased towards a certain group of people?
3) How do dystopian authors shift their opinions towards a group of people without affecting the minds of the targeted audience?
